Product Description
Tesa is a synthetic analog of the first 29 amino acids of hormone-releasing g hormone (GHRH), strategically modified with a trans-3-hexenoic acid group attached to the N-terminal tyrosine residue to enhance stability, biological activity, and pharmacokinetic properties compared to native GHRH.
Mechanism of Action
Tesa exerts its effects through selective binding to and activation of the g hormone-releasing hormone receptor (GHRHR), a G-protein coupled receptor expressed on somatotroph cells in the anterior pituitary gland. When tesa binds to GHRHR, it activates Gs proteins, which stimulate adenylyl cyclase to produce cyclic AMP (cAMP) as a second messenger.
